Tokyo Rope has developed the HWS-330, the world’s first new, high-precision, wire-saw system; the design has come from their engineering experience in extremely thin wire production machines. The HWS-330 has a vertical multi-wire configuration and a horizontal work-transfer system (Patent Pending) and is specially designed for cutting wafers of 200 and 300 mm in diameter.
Development of vertical multi-wire running and horizontal work-transfer system. The HWS-330’s unique vertical multi-wire configuration and horizontal work-transfer system offers the following advantages that are not provided with a conventional horizontal wire configuration and vertical work system. lCompact and light-weight machines. Without eliminating mechanical stiffness needed for accurate cutting , this new machine offers compact and lightweight merits.lEasy maintenance gives a flexibility in automatic production process. Wide open spaces provided at the front and upper side give easy maintenance and flexibility in automatic production processes. lImproving cutting performance and high precision processes. With features of a stable flow of abrasive slurry that adheres to the wire, as compared to conventional machines, the HWS-330 has high performance precision cutting.
