MP2500 X-RAY DETECTOR

The Model MP2500 Microprocessor GM Amplifier unit uses a peak
signal detector and readout that is ideal for the orientation of bars.
 Incorporating state of the art microprocessor technology coupled
with Alvord Systems proprietary software algorithms, the MP2500
can detect, store and display the peak value of an x-ray
beam reflected off a test sample.

Used in conjunction with a Bragg angle x-ray goniometer, the MP2500 can significantly increase the repeatability, reliability and throughput of signal measurement by eliminating individual operator interpretation of the data.  Supplied with a Geiger Mueller tube assembly, the MP2500 is easily adapted to existing Alvord Systems x-ray piezogoniometers or to other commercially manufactured units in the quartz crystal industry
